    Re: McCain Suspends Campaign

I wish McBush would just campaign, cuz the less Republicans we have working on this bill, the better. BTW, McCain will get slammed like a lil biotch come debate time....Miss Buffalo Chip...I'm still laughing.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

    Re: McCain Suspends Campaign

McCain says he wants a fix for the mess we're in RIGHT NOW and wants to work on it RIGHT NOW. Obama wants to get on with the debates whether the problem is fixed or not. Shows where his priorities lie.
"Yes, there are two paths you can go by
    But in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on."

    Re: McCain Suspends Campaign

If McCain wants a fix RIGHT NOW, maybe he shouldn't have voted for Bush's policies 90% of the time BACK THEN...

MMMMM what ya gonna do with the swing voters. The folks who will decide this election ,when in a month or so...after a couple of bombings in some country ...someone says something like, " Don't want to turn your country into Iraq? McCane says he won't even talk with us....." Already been done once, hasn't it?

Wait is over back to the election....
"WASHINGTON - Key Republicans and Democrats reported agreement in principle Thursday on a $700 billion bailout of the financial industry and said they would present it to the Bush administration in hopes of a vote within days.

Emerging from a two-hour negotiating session, Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., the Banking Committee chairman said, "We are very confident that we can act expeditiously
...House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Bush's agreement with Democrats on limiting pay for executives of bailed out financial institutions and giving taxpayers an equity stake in the companies cleared a significant hurdle"

Let's limit the CEO's pay to 35,000 per year and let them see how real folks live. I wonder what limit they're setting? Bet it's 7 digits.

Maybe McCain and Obama can best settle the issue with an old time draw - winner takes it!
